General Information on Updating Your Listing
We like to keep Wishbook listings up to date, and we encourage you to update your page as often as you like throughout the year, whenever you have changes. Just send an email listing your changes to wishbook.roc@gmail.com, and we will take care of the rest. You will receive a confirmation via email when your changes have been made.

Also, please send information regarding your Special Events to the above email address.

 

 

 

How To Add Your Local 501(c)3 Not-for- Profit Organization to the Wishbook,

1. Send us an email at wishbook@rochester.rr.com.
2. We will send you a form by return email asking you to provide information about your agency.

To be listed in the Wishbook, you must be a not-for-profit charitable 501(c)(3) organization in the Rochester, NY, area that routinely accepts donations from the public. Your contact person must be someone who will promptly return phone calls and emails from potential donors and volunteers, and who will follow through on arrangements for pickup or delivery of items. There is no cost for inclusion in the Wishbook.

3. If you qualify, return the filled-out Form using email to 
wishbook@rochester.rr.com.

A Possible Source of Volunteers for Wishbook Agencies:

RochesterCares offers volunteer recruitment, experienced project management, and in some cases even tools and supplies to make your volunteer projects successful. For information, see the RochesterCares website at www.rochestercares.org, and click on "Agencies."

Organization for Wishbook Agencies That Use Volunteers:

The Rochester Area Administrators of Volunteer Services (RAAVS) is a collaboration of agencies and organizations who utilize volunteers to carry out their mission and vision. RAAVS provides support, guidance, training and resources to individuals working in the field of volunteer resources management. Members include: volunteer administrators, program coordinators, executive directors, fund development, resource managers and other professionals in non-profit and for-profit organizations. For 25 years RAAVS has been the number one resource for volunteer resource management professionals. From the seasoned administrator to those new in the field, RAAVS offers something for everyone.
