I’m reaching out because I maintain a Little Free Library in Rochester’s Maplewood neighborhood, on Parkwood Rd., between Dewey Avenue and Bernice Street.
Our little library has become a surprisingly busy community resource. Our library not only contains books. Books are constantly coming and going, and we’re seeing regular use from neighborhood children, families, teens, and adults. I’ve been purchasing books myself to keep it stocked, but the demand has grown to the point where I can no longer keep up with the volume on my own and neighborhood donations have slowed.
