•  Assistant: Sort through donations, maintains inventory.
• Assist clients in the Food Pantry and Clothing Closet.
•  Administrative assistance. 

• Assist customers with purchases.
• Assist with inventory, pricing merchandise and re-stocking shelves
• Participate in telemarketing sales initiative on an as-need basis
• Answer incoming phone calls
• Assist in contacting special order customers for pick-up
• Assist Flag Store occasionally at Festivals and Community events

Coffee Shop Barista:

• Greet and communicate with clients using a nonjudgmental approach that reflects cultural competency and sensitivity to the unique needs and diverse experiences of the individuals served
• Oversee the complementary café operations, including preparing and serving beverages and small snacks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a pleasant atmosphere.
• Provide assistance to visitors navigating VOC services while offering support and a listening ear to those who need it
• Foster a sense of community among veterans
• Tell veterans about other VOC services, support groups, classes, and events
• Daily cleaning of all Café materials
• Monitor inventory and make a list of items that need to be ordered
• Follow the opening and closing checklist to open & close the Café each day

• Greeting and signing in clients.
• Answering phones and addressing generic questions.
• Assisting clients with registering for VCTC classes.
• Assisting clients with basic computer skills/use.
• Basic data entry as needed.
